Re: Web player failing for iOS/iPadOS
I was just looking though UMS.conf for a setting for someone else and saw this option # When Firefox is used on Linux, send videos with a spoofed MP4 MIME type. # Default: false web_firefox_linux_mp4 = Maybe this could help for Safari and iOS too. Try setting it to true and see if it makes a differe...

Re: Opens my web browser on Windows Startup?
That should have done it. Did you remember to save?
You could also confim the setting by looking at C:\ProgramData\UMS\UMS.conf in a text editor and make sure this is set to false

Re: Opens my web browser on Windows Startup?
There is a setting to turn off launching the web interface on startup.
The button with 3 lines on the top right of the page opens up the menu where you can change the settings.

Re: Unable to start UMS normally
UMS should be able to automatically find the right network interface to use if one is not set in the conf, but I did see a warning earlier on in the logs about problem getting the system info WARN 2023-03-24 21:20:48.404 [System Information Logger] oshi.util.platform.mac.SysctlUtil Failed sysctl cal...

Re: Roku and Xbox Access
I had a quick look at your logs and can see there is plenty of communication with the Xbox, same for the Rokus. I know little about the communication protocols so I don't know if there is a problem here or what to look for. I did see some warnings from the Rokus though where UMS cannot find a file o...

Re: Perma-URL for "Home" folder in web-interface
Sorry I misread what you wanted. I'm not sure that is possible at the moment because of how the locations are created.

Re: Missing the metadata
You are not seeing the JavaScript error on the page, you are looking at the source code and it is normal for it to be there. If JavaScript was turned off you will get a white screen with just that message. I think I can see what is happening now. Several things have been going on in your past logs s...

Just use http://[mydomain]:9002/ to go straight to the player.

Re: Web player failing for iOS/iPadOS
There could be something different on how iOS is handling the web player.
Will need logs to see if anything obvious is causing it and if not the Devs will need to see why iOS won't play them. (see the section in red above)

Re: download previous
I just checked and all Linux downloads is 13.2.1, I even started to download the files and the filenames have 13.2.1
here
There is a possibility the the wrong version was included in these downloads but you should be able to get the right one
