Thanks for the reply. When I get some time in the coming days, I will post logs from the working version 14.2.1 and the not working version 14.3.0 (and newer). I think the only really personal information showing up in the logs is that the "first admin" account I made uses my full name ...

Okay, followed these steps and got these results:

1) no UMS installed and folders deleted from C:\ProgramData and C:\Program Files (x86)
2) installed 14.5.0 with "Clean install" set - this tested broken as described above
3) uninstalled program and deleted all folders
4) installed 14.4.0 with ...

I installed v14.5.0 today completely from scratch (because of a bug in earlier versions) and now almost nothing works. I'd say about 95% of my library returns either a "Media Server Error: A Network Error Has Occurred" or "Media Type Not Supported", when of course everything worked before ...

That seems to have worked for me for my test video. Nice!

I have the same problem, but have had it for some time (many versions ago, but I'm not sure which, sorry!). I upgraded to 14.3.0 recently thinking the issue might have been solved. Sadly, no. I have reproduced the problem and zipped up the trace logs, which I will attach to this post ...
