Sorry to post to an ageing thread - but is it normal for a Sony 'Android' TV to show up as 3-4 renderers in UMS (one of which appears to be a Chromecast)? Or should it only show up as a single renderer with multiple capabilities?

I haven't needed to copy any config files around to get it to play ...

Retested with UMS 5.3.0 and the same issue occurs.

The change to Sony-Playstation3.conf suggested by @valib resulted in no audio being sent to the PS3, and the video still be transcoded to MPEG-2 by default.

Files are attached for the default case (transcoded to MPEG-2) and the case where i forced remuxing using TSMuxer from the #TRANSCODE# menu (which works perfectly).

What are the symptoms on the PS3?
Does the screen go black, the play symbol appear for a second or two, and then all black with no sound?
Do the PS3 remote buttons work, i.e. O to go back to the menu?

Oddly, I was able to download from SourceForge using Firefox, but IE reported a HTTP 400 (not 404, odd) error.

I've been playing around with manually re-muxing some of my .mkv files to try to satisfy the conditions for UMS to play the file (to a PS3) using tsmuxer, rather than transcoding to MPEG-2 using ffmpeg (default configuration).
