Ok, I will try out your version!

Seems weird to me that UMS just doesn't transcode to one of the several formats the PS4 supports. :-/ Perhaps AAC or MP3 or something...

I have tried to use UMS with my PS4 lately and cannot play my FLAC and/or OGG files. Files which works perfectly on my PS3. Both tested with the same UMS 6.5.0 server.

Please either confirm or deny if any other has the same issue!

Yeah, I am actually not really sure what dependencies tsMuxeR has. I don't even know if it's open-source or not...
But these were the ones I had to install.
Firstly I installed "lib32-ncurses" only and tried to launch.
But then I got the error: "./tsMuxeR: error while loading shared libraries ...

To test if you're having the issue with tsMuxeR, do this:
1. Go into the directory "linux" in your UMS-directory. (Where you run "ums.sh" from...)
2. Run: "./tsMuxeR"
3. Then run: "echo $?"
4. If you get "127" you have to fix this. (See below)

Well, it was worth a shot.

Have you tested UMS with another computer, maybe with Windows and/or Linux.
Just to test whether it's a OS X specific problem or not. It may make it simpler to find the problem.

Try to replicate the tests as closely to what you have done previously as possible. ;)

Okey, nice to get that confusion out of the way ;P

But it seems to me like you may have to modify the "PhilipsPFL.conf" file in the "renderers"-folder. I may be wrong... :(
In this file it is specified what formats is supported by you TV. And some other things too...

I'm no expert but it seems like the process (MEncoder) is starting and about 5-10 seconds afterwards it kills itself, which is strange...
Have you tried forcing to use FFmpeg through the transcoding folder? (I think the UMS project is about to switch to FFmpeg by default soon anyway)

Could you post the debug log from UMS, on trace level.
Until you do, we don't stand a hope trying to either re-create the error or try fixing it. :)

Set the debug on trace, play the video and wait for the blue screen to appear, then try to retrieve the log (debug.log-file) from your UMS ...

Seems to me like you are having a networking issue, and maybe other issues too... :P
But could you post the log on trace level?

Some quick questions:
- Are you forcing ip on your server, and/or forcing a specific NIC? (Network interface controller)
- If you install UMS with all options left at ...
