Re: Server not found via remote connection.

Yes, now the server is accessible on the TV. I just want to make it available on my local network, router 1 and 2. In my first post I mentioned remote access because it was the easiest way to describe the problem. I thought if I had to explain that my local network has a router inside another router...

Re: Server not found via remote connection.

Hey guys, I think I solved the problem. In trace log I saw that it was indicating failure in the UPC code of the unpn protocol of router 2. So I disabled unpn option in router 2 settings, and opened UDP port 1900, which is responsible for unpn connection. From there, the server is accessible through...

Re: Server not found via remote connection.

@boss
Yes, only devices connected to Router 2 can access the server.
Router 1 is an Archer-C20, and router 2 is an TL-WR740N.

Only those connected via Wi-Fi to Router 1 will have access to the server. The Wi-Fi has a WPA2 password.

Re: Server not found via remote connection.

Actually router 1 is public, other people have access to it. so I connected my pc after router 2, so people don't have access to my pc over the network.

Re: Server not found via remote connection.

This is very confusing. 🤔
I will try to open all these ports on Router 2 as well. UDP port 1900 is also used isn't it?

I'll try to capture the events in the trace log, so I'll post them here. Maybe it helps.

Re: Server not found via remote connection.

It seems to be really complicated.
I noticed that the remote port of the UMS process is not fixed, it alternates a lot between 30,000 and 45,000 randomly.
Do you know how to better stabilize the remote port of this javaw.exe process?
I think the problem must be related to this.

Re: Server not found via remote connection.

That's true. But actually, I have two routers connected on the same local network, and I want to access the server on the other router. I'm trying to forward ports on Router 2, but Internet access would actually be access through Router 1. I don't know how to explain it well. 😅 Here is a picture of ...
