This build will potentially be better at notifying renderers about updates to content, including thumbnail updates. Please test it https://www.universalmediaserver.com/up ... a70df1.exe

I tried it on my PS4 and it does update the thumbnail now after I put it to sleep and wake it again. Used to be I have to fully quit the media player first for it to update.
It.

It does not update immediately though but this will be because the PS4 keeps recent folders in memory and it is not requesting the listing again. After browsing 5-10 other folders it will have forgotten and will be updated the next time that first folder is loaded.

I hope it works for the Samsung Q9 too.

I can confirm with my Samsung Q800T and Q900T models that the tumbnail support is much better! It did take cleaning a couple of time of reading it from the executable and refreshing the folders but it did clean out the unwanted tumbnails and updated them correctly.

Previously reported in this thread. Samsung Q800T & Q900TS (wrong thumbnails)

Please incorporate these changes into your next build 10.8.3 or 10.9

Thank you very much

Thanks for the testing, I've put it up for review by another developer. It didn't make it into 10.9.0 which I'm releasing now, but should be in the next version

I can also confirm that the problems seem to be fixed in this test. I will download 10.09.1 when it's available and let you know if all is well :)

Thanks so much!
