Does UMS support play-to/push-to a DMR??

Post by ira »

I can't find anywhere if UMS supports pushing to a DLNA renderer? Can it do this?

There's a development branch for this, upnp-3, which is fairly functional and includes gui and browser player widgets for pushing to UMS renderers. To try it out you'll need to pull the code and compile it, see the wiki, in particular How to Complile from another branch of UMS for more info.

Testers welcome and appreciated :).

If you have any app with DLNA Controller functionality around (ie Play To), UMS does work indeed.

Awesome, that's great to hear. What's the best way to get some features implemented if I have some money to spend (work money!). Would it be best to contract an individual to develop those features or does the project have a development team?
