Supported Formats Tool
Supported Formats Tool
Here's something I found today that I wish I'd found 6 months ago when I started using PMS/UMS!!
This UPNP Tool will allow you to choose "SPY" mode and get a list of all the formats that a particular UPNP device on your network will support!

Re: Supported Formats Tool
People are using it almost from the beginning of PMS, also mentioned in forum and on other places many times...and also mentioned (by me) that it can't detect all renderers...like my Panasonic TV
Re: Supported Formats Tool
Sorry, ExSport, I've never seen it mentioned before! This thing should be a required download for anyone trying to create their own CONF files.ExSport wrote:People are using it almost from the beginning of PMS, also mentioned in forum and on other places many times...and also mentioned (by me) that it can't detect all renderers...like my Panasonic TV

Re: Supported Formats Tool
I agree it is a must . Only wanted to say that it is also mentioned in PMS FAQ somewhere. Unfortunatelly it doesn't work in all cases
Re: Supported Formats Tool
I noticed that. It didn't pick up either of my PS3's or my wireless devices.ExSport wrote:Unfortunatelly it doesn't work in all cases

Re: Supported Formats Tool
I've spent a lot of years around the PMS forums and now the UMS forum and I had never seen reference to it, glad you mentioned it here. Need to go check it out and see what kinda neat things I can do.
Peace!
