I can't reproduce the issue - my DVDs work on all the versions mentioned. So I need you guys to test some custom versions for me and hopefully we can narrow it down like that. Here are three builds, please let me know which one/s work:

Hello Subjunk,
The UMS-025ad1e seems to work for me while using OSX El Capitan and PS4.
Finally the ISO-VOB files play with subtitles while transcoded through mencoder.

The other one I did not test yet , but I will do on a later time and keep you posted on this , but first I have some newyears party's to attend.

Thanks for your support SubJunk, and sorry for the delay.
So, I'm on OSX 10.9.5 and PS3.
UMS-2a04ce0 and UMS-5295613 work perfectly with ISOs and VOBs.
With UMS-025ad1e, I could not really test it because I get "DLNA protocol error 7522" and cannot list the movies ...

Tested the
http://www.spirton.com/uploads/UMS/UMS-5295613.dmg build , but this shows the files ,but won't play them on the PS4.
So for now only the
http://www.spirton.com/uploads/UMS/UMS-025ad1e.dmg does work for me.
When I've got some more time on my hand ,I will provide you with logs.

So it seems a bit inconsistent, with different people getting different results. The tool we use for this, MPlayer, seems to have that inconsistency. Can you try the latest version of UMS and just try it 5 times, see if it works sometimes?
