Universal Media Server | Forum

I thought a chat room would be nice. Might help with quick debugging as opposed to waiting for hours for someone to respond on the forum. Also would encourage people to stay online more as they can talk to people in real time. Would be a great aid for collaboration as well. Just a thought.

Even something as simple as an IRC channel would be nice.

An IRC channel would be great. One could even think about implemeting a socket based JavaScript client on the homepage ( doesn't use bandwidth because it is client-side ).

What do the Dev's think about this? This thread hasn't been answered and exists since Jul 12, 2012.

Most open source projects use freenode IRC Server for their channels. #ums is still free and available . Want me to put a bouncer in there ?
