Can I play "live stream"

I have icecast media streaming server started and I added under "Shared Content" in Type: "stream" Folder: "Web", Source url: "http://localhost:8000/stream" but when I access Web folder in my TV nothing is there but I can open my stream in VLC, so what Im doing wrong ?
