Does 'Enable GPU use with True Motion' also work for ATI?

Hello,
I have an ATI video card and I was wondering if the ''Enabled GPU use with True Motion' also works with ATI video cards as I can't seem to get it to work.
I would like to know if it works to save me the hassle from trying all possible options and then finding it just isn't supported.

I would also like to know as well. I have one of those laptops with switchable graphices hand have not been able to get it to work.

What do you mean by you can't get it to work? Does it produce an error or just not use much GPU? It is normal for it to only use a small percentage of the GPU even when it is working

I get an error on the PS3...I think it was that that data was corrupted.

Madoka, you are right. I also get a 'The data is corrupted' on my PS3.
I tried UMS on 2 computers, both have an ATI graphics card which work with the GPU decoding functionality of CoreAVC.

Which ATI driver version are you using? And can you attach the debug info?

I am using ATI driver version 8.961 with Catalyst Version 12.4. My GPU is the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200.

Giving this thread a bump since I am still experiencing this problem. I have also bought a nVidia graphics card, but the problem persists. I even tried it on the PC of a friend of mine, exactly the same problem with exactly the same debug output.
