Which Version for Raspberry Pi 3B+ and 4

Hi i have been given a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and am in the process of waiting on a Raspberry Pi 4 order arriving, i intend to have a play around with Universal Media server on both but have a few queries. Will be nice not having a full desktop PC on all day 
Obviously i will be running a form of Linux on the Pi (which i have not decided) So what Linux OS would people recommend on the Pi for Universal Media Server to work with as seamless as possible ??
My other query is which version of Universal Media Server should i be installing out of....
10.5.0 for Linux (x86_64)
10.5.0 for Linux (x86)
10.5.0 for Linux (armhf)
10.5.0 for Linux (arm64)
10.5.0 for Linux (arm/armel)
I assume its one of the arm versions but which one ??
