It'd save a lot of TV real estate is there were an option to show folders and files as a sortable list instead of icons

Maybe a sub-option to use 2 columns

Maybe an option to use metadata Title if there is one, filename if not

I can change to 'List' using the UMS web server on my PC, so maybe it's a render restriction?

If you're using UMS via DLNA (like a media server option on your TV) then we have no control over what they display - we just send them raw information and the TV maker has decided what it looks like

I was afraid of that
