Update:

I downloaded and installed 11.1.0 today.
It was worth trying, but unfortunately still the same problem: several audio (FLAC and MP3) folders show "No results found" when browsing.

Went back to 10.19.0 and browsing works fine again.

Thanks for the update. The devs know that whatever is causing it happened between 10.20.0 and 10.21.0 now so that narrows things down.

Sorry to see the troubles you're having. I noticed that in 10.20.0 we added a "dc:date" attribute to what we send, maybe your renderer doesn't like it. I have reverted that in this test build, please try it https://www.universalmediaserver.com/up ... dcdate.exe

Thanks for the test build.
I will try this in the next days and let you know the result.

Good news!

I installed the test build from the link and all works fine in this build. Browsing and playing; no empty folders as far as I can see now.

Hope this helps.

Ah great, that was a lucky guess to get it first try. The fix will be in the next release :)
For the record it is really a bug with your renderer, but it's nothing new for us to workaround renderer bugs :D

Ok, thanks.

Will this workaround be a hardcoded fix, something like: if renderer is Sangean WFT-3 then don't send dc:date?
It's not possible to control this behaviour from the renderer .conf file? It's a pity that a workaround has to be programmed in code because of my buggy renderer.

The fix I've made is to have an option in renderer configs that can enable dc:date, disabled by default. It's a shame but in the end the ability to browse files is the highest priority
