Problem with Sony TV KDL-40EX723

Hi, Complete noob here but I've been using UMS for the last six months with no problems at all. Until a couple of days ago, the missus was watching her Big Bang Theory, (streaming from my PC the usual way I do it - wired connection through the mains power line adaptor to router), until suddenly they just don't play on my Sony TV any more. Movies and stuff are fine. I tried reinstalling and updated to UMS 3.4.0 and also reset the cache and tried various other options in the transcoder settings but no luck. I've discovered I can go into the Transcode menu on the file on the TV and if I select tsMuxer, the file will play. It's a pain having to do this. Not sure what's happened as it was fine. I also stream to my PS3 wirelessly and that works flawlessly. I've also started having problems with Boardwalk Empire too and that has been perfect. Also the file will sometimes play and then skip and the audio dubbing will get knocked out after five minutes or so. Annoying.

Any ideas?
