UMS.exe v13.9.0 gets blocked by Norton 360

Hello,

I recently updated UMS to v13.9.0. Now UMS.exe gets blocked by Norton 360.
When I start UMS.bat instead, it seems to work. Any ideas?

I have no idea about this but from the message UMS is trying to open something from a temp folder but that folder is protected by Norton's data protector.

I tried looking on my computer to see what that folder it could be but it does not exist, there is no c:\users\windows\ folder for me but I am on Win10 and Win 11 may have it.
Unless your username is called "windows" then it makes more sense, but UMS should not be accessing a file it did not create unless you have added the whole system drive as a shared folder.

There may be some information in the logs though.

Hi,

the vendor of the PC created an initial user named "Windows" which I am using.
There are not entries in the logs since Norton seems to block UMS.exe completely.
