Displaying cbr comics

I've got a bunch of comics in *.cbr files.
Can these be displayed on the TV with UMS.
How would I do it?
How does one navigate?
Thank.

CBR files are supported by UMS. UMS will open the archive and display all the files within the archive as individual files. Navigating is up to your render.
You just have to make sure that the config option "Browse compressed archives" is set.

In $HOME/.config/UMS/UMS.conf
....
enable_archive_browsing = true
....
In $HOME/.config/UMS/debug.log
....

Archives can't be scanned.
But you can browse them.
And you must restart to make the enable_archive_browsing flag to take effect.
If you still have problems upload full logs. I tried with a cbr archive and it works for me.

After re-start, I can see the comic pages but when I select one, I get an
Exception.
See Attachment (debug.log and UMS.conf).
Thanks

That looks weird. It tries to find subtitles. That NPE should be plugged anyway. Try switching off v2 (I don't know what it is called actually but on the network tab there should be something called v2).

Thanks.
Set it to use the non-v2 version but still no luck. Still got an Exception.
I might add that the tv is a Samsung UN60F7100 so that might be the issue,
no one else is using one with UMS (?).
Attached is the log file.
This is really not a high priority with me; I just wanted to check out UMS's
features.
