Ideal subtitle solution?
So maybe I'm just dense, but I can't seem to get subtitles to work as intended. I have both PS3 and XBOX360.
All of my collection is either 720 or 1080p .mkv containers, usually DTS, but sometimes AC3 where needed. Most if not all, have the subtitle stream embedded.
The subtitle function in the ps3 menu does not control the subtitles. Is it supposed to? Is it just a pipe dream? Sometimes I like to turn them on midway in a movie and back off without dropping out of UMS going to the computer/optional UMS online menu and checking 'definitely disable subtitles'. Also if this is checked it seems to block forced subtitles like foreign languages in the middle of the movie.
