UE40D6200

Post by tuyoter »

Hi,

I bought 2 years ago, a Samsung SmartTV series D. (UE40D6200 - T-GAS6DEUC 1014.0-BT-G)
I began to be disappointed with this product, for these points:
1) not true full HD 3D (I use little ...)
2) the subtitles should be extracted into a file .SRT
3) increasing the codec does not work anymore
4) HDMI ARC does not seem to return the audio DTS, Prologic, my Denon AVR-1612, the only parameter SPDIF if I choose DTS or Dolby Digital, DTS Denon displays good or Dolby Digital but the sound is in stereo mode (only 2 voices).
TV <= HDMI ARC => Denon

UMS via gigabit

So I got started in the media server, UPNP and DLNA specially to try to solve the last 3 points.

Transcoding works for subtitles and video, for against the sound does not always work, and I still have the problem DTS, Dolby Digital.

I have to read on another device via UPNP DLNA without transcoding.
TV <= HDMI ARC => Denon <= HDMI => tv player with cl + <= IP => UMS

Can I do better? only with my TV?
config transcoding?
connect TV audio output through optical? I've heard that for samsung D series, it was necessary to do this for DTS, Dolby Digital.

I am Linux Centos 6.6 x86.
I take the example of a file with the problem, already on TV that does not work, and ditto with UMS without transcoding.
ffprobe myVideo.mkv
=> matroska, webm
=> encode: libebml libmatroska v1.3.0 + v1.4.1
=> bitrate: 11181 kb / s
=>
Stream # 0: 0 (eng) Video: h264 (High), yuv420p, 1920x808, SAR 1: 1 DAR 240: 101, 23.98 fps, 23.98 tbr, 1k tbn, 47.95 tbc (default)
Stream # 0: 1 (eng): Audio: DTS (DTS), 48000 Hz, 5.1 (side), FLTP, 1536 kb / s (default)

transcoding video work but there is no sound.
I use ffmpeg audio, I tried all the settings, it changes nothing.

many thx for help
