5.1 not playing MP4 files.

unfortunately, I can't follow the reporting guidelines I just read because I've had to uninstall and revert to 5.0.
As the title says, 5.1 would not longer recognise MP4 files. I even uninstalled and did a clean install. I then tried adding the K-Lite Codecs as suggested here and it made no difference.
I play on a Samsung Blu-Ray player and have no issues before 5.1.
Whether you reply or not, I don't care but at least I've told you now. Perhaps others can confirm whether or not they are having the issue too.
