I'm experiencing the same iusse. It only happens on certain videos, so maybe it has something to do with the format, or the properties of the video?
When I try to load the movie it's stuck at "loading video". The debug in UMS fills up with the repeating step documented below.
Once this error has occured, it seems like UMS has been "broken" and I have to restart the TV/UMS application.
I've tried both .mp4 and .avi versions of the movie, but both get this issue.
Setup info:
My computer streams via wire through the router to the TV, which is also connected to the router by wire.
Notes:
- I've tried a fresh install of UMS v6.2.2
- The other renders are still in the render folder.
- Both movies I've tried share the file location, but they have different names.
- We ran another movie successfully right before we tried to play the one that fails.
- The movie that fails to load, fails every time.
PC:
Win 10 (1511)
Java (version 8 update 77)
Universal Media Server (6.2.2)
TV:
Sony Bravia kd-55x8505c
----------------------------------------------
i've added a render for my TV. This render is based on the Sony-BraviaHX.conf render.
The changes I did to the render are:
From
UserAgentAdditionalHeaderSearch = BRAVIA KDL.+HX
UpnpDetailsSearch = Sony , KDL.+HX
To
UserAgentAdditionalHeaderSearch = BRAVIA KD-55X8505C
# UpnpDetailsSearch = Sony , KD.+HX
