Re: no renderers found

Dealing with fraud, illegal activity, planning, managing human resources, compliance, operating facilities, financial forecasting, and strategic planning are some of the everyday issues veterans deal with on a daily basis. I assume you're in the fraud business then.. Nah just the spam business

Re: Samsung Q9 series issues

I have not looked too much into your logs as this is not an area I know much about, but with some extra logging in this version I can see that of the 6 videos played, 3 were marked as fully played and the other 3 marked as not fully played. If you are still seeing no change to the thumbnails then it...

Re: Image freezes when voice is present in 4k movies

Ok I'm Stumped. This is one area I know little about, all I can tell is something causing your TV to reset the connection but no idea what. I think this is one for the devs to have a look at. Only thing I can think of if there might be something your TV does not like in the subs encoding. I know not...

Re: Image freezes when voice is present in 4k movies

OK I think the problem is definably to do with the subs. I found this was happening quite often net.pms.configuration.RendererConfiguration Checking whether the external subtitles format SUBRIP is supported by the renderer ... net.pms.configuration.FormatConfiguration External subtitles format "...

Re: New renderer Philips 55OLED805/12

It will be that there is no current renderer conf for that model of TV.
There may be an existing one that can be altered to make a new one for it but to be of any more help we will need to see logs. See the section above in red.

Re: Main [email protected]@Main causes MKV files to not play (I think)

Yeah the problem with modifying an existing conf is that when you install a new version of UMS, those changes will be reverted. When I modify an existing conf, I copy it first and rename it to somthing-mod.conf for example and make sure to set LoadingPriority = 1 so that this version will take prior...

Re: Main [email protected]@Main causes MKV files to not play (I think)

Q1. looks like there's some garbage starting at line 1992, but I'm not sure if it's garbage That is normal, I think it is just data coming from FFmpeg displaying as text which is not meant to be human readable. Just a guess though. Q2. I'm wondering if Samsung-NotCD.conf is the most appropriate con...

Re: Main [email protected]@Main causes MKV files to not play (I think)

Most devices do actually report what formats are supported. If you look in the logs for GetProtocolInfo it will list everything. But It is not as simple as that, what they report back can be too broad and some combination of audio and video codecs may not work together. Ideally the best way of writi...

Re: Main [email protected]@Main causes MKV files to not play (I think)

I thought that show transcode folder was on by default so assumed that you would see it on your TV  The #--TRANSCODE--# folder can be a bit of a mess as it shows every combination of engine, audio and subs available which can be overwhelming for some videos, and some devices make it harder by ...
