Re: OutOfMemory Error

I don't know enough to figure out what those 2 log files are. I looked through them but did not understand them.

It does confirm a memory problem and being unable to allocate 1.5Mb

# Native memory allocation (malloc ...

Re: OutOfMemory Error

Yeah I get that, just since UMS is looking there if it can find those files then this will eliminate one possibility if you still get the out of memory error.

I'll create an issue for MediaInfo but will be good to know if it is a just mis-configuration or if I need to make a a separate issue for ...

Re: I have a question about Setup

That is a bit strange. It could be it is not using the right conf file so is transcoding something incorrectly that cannot be played by the renderer.
With VLC very little if anything will need to be transcoded.

Your logs were still a bit strange as it is not in TRACE mode when it should have been ...

Re: OutOfMemory Error

I'm not sure if the other linux-x86 folder at "com\sun\jna\linux-x86" is the same as the one where UMS is looking for libzen.so

Try what I suggested and make the "linux-x86" folder in the root of ums.jar and copy libzen.so and libmediainfo.so from your install in here and see if it at least gets ...

Re: I have a question about Setup

I see errors that UMS is unable to bind to an IP address as it is already in use, it is as if there is another UMS process is running.

Re: I have a question about Setup

Are you able to see UMS on your devices and see them on the web interface? I can see a Samsung TV and Denon AVR in the logs.

If it is just no files are showing I do see a database error and this would prevent anything from showing.

Re: OutOfMemory Error

Just throwing out Ideas as I don't know how media info is installed on Linux.
I thought if UMS was installing it then overwriting these in 14.12 with those from 14.11 would prove this is a problem with the version it is installing.

Since it mentioned UMS.jar I remembered that this is basically a ...

Re: I have a question about Setup

If you look on the web interface you can see what is detected. You need to set up the shares here in the shared contend section.

If nothing is showing I will need to see logs to find the problem. See the section in red above.

Re: Exception in thread "jupnp-sync-protocol 500-1"

I will need to see your logs to see if it is a problem, see the red section above.

Like @boss says there appears to be an issue with 14.12 on Linux that may be the cause but need more information to find clues at what it may be.
